Contradictory thoughts
This is inspired by a recent post by Kanu having the same title.
1. Everything is fair in love and war.
If the person you love is going away with someone else, you try to get her back, by hook or by crook.
There is an old saying. "True love is like a bird. Let it go. If it comes back, it will be forever yours ... else it was never yours."
However this policy does not work usually ... as the moment you let the bird go, someone will pounce over it and keep it in his cage.
2. Happiness of the other.
If you feel that the person you love is happy with someone else ... let her be. Seeing her happy ... after all, that's all you ever wanted, isn't it ?

'everything is fair in love and war'
in case of love/war, everything is fair only if it is a both sided affair( love is on each side or hatered is on both sides). I personally feel, people should not take this as true and feel free to do anything when its love/war from one side. But usually, its the 'one sided affair' gang which considers it to be true.
