Top of the world

It was 10:50 AM ... the boring Queuing theory lecture had just finished ... when i got a missed call from Shobhit. I called back ... he said that IIMA results were out. He checked them for me ... i was in.
I was feeling numb ... but i wanted to see it for myself. I rushed to the dept ... but the net at the TCS lab was atrociously slow. I went to the VLSI lab ... the net was slow there too. I was toooooo nervous. The page where i had to enter my registration number and date of birth opened. I didn't even wait for it to load completely. I tried to select my birthday and i found the field only allowed from 1-14. I should learn to wait for a page to load completely. :P
Finally vikram took over and entered my details. I saw the result ... its true ... confirmed. :)
I had not expected the result to be out today. I had only Rs 37 in my cell and had soooo many people to call. I managed 7 STD's and 2 local calls in that meagre amount ... always had to keep down the phone although i wanted to go on speaking. First mammam, then bandhu, followed by ma and baba. The 5th call was to kiddo, followed by richa and kanu ... then the 2 local calls to angad and ravi. It feels so nice to share your happiness with friends ... everybody was so happy ... i was literally at the top of the world. :)
